Come with us to Pinocchio's Pizza this Tuesday 12/8/09, 7:00pm, for talk about our local food Co-op, good food from a local restaurant and live music from local Phoebe Bridgers.
Phoebe is a student at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She has played her own brand of acoustic folk all over Los Angeles, including the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival, Folk Music Center in Claremont, The Coffee Gallery Backstage and the Echo Back Porch. Phoebe is an engaging performer for such a young singer, and her own songs are mature and insightful. She can be seen every Saturday busking at the Pasadena Farmer's Market, which makes her a natural "local" for our Co-op get-together!
Bring your Co-op questions, chat with some of the Co-op team leaders, have some food and drink. It promises to be a good time. Plus 15% of the evening's proceeds go to our Co-op's efforts.
