One of the most common questions we get is "Where will the Co-op be located?" As a community owned store, we want the Arroyo Food Co-op to be as close and convenient as possible for all members.
Using the addresses provided by the members of the Co-op, we have been able to find a target area to begin our search for a brick and mortar store. The lines on the map above represent the 95th percentile (red) and 90th percentile (blue) regions of town in terms of member convenience, while the pin is the highest-scoring location.
As we add new members to the Co-op, this map will evolve accordingly. This only represents a guide for our search for a store: Available properties, zoning regulations, and financial considerations will enter into the search process, and the final location will be voted on by the members of the Co-op.
Below is a map of all locations that are within a 10 minute drive of the intersection of Washington and Lake, right near the ideal location plotted on the map above. This shows how convenient this location would be for the Altadena and Pasadena areas.
